In fact, a recent study indicated that over 25% of incoming first-year students at four-year universities worked with educational consultants to support their college process.

I am experienced with both the selective high school and the selective college landscape. For the past decade, I have dedicated myself to working with students and their parents, from admissions and dorm life to athletics and educational counseling. The college essay, together with any interviews and interactions with Admission Officers, is one of the few application components where students can tell their own story in their own voice. Each student has a unique personality, background, and set of interests. Essays are the chance to share some aspect of your life in a thoughtful and personal manner.

Having read thousands of essays, and helped with the creation of hundreds more, I have the ability to coach students through the essay process, from brainstorming and drafting all the way to the final product. My goal is to help students feel confident that their personal story reflects their unique voice and values, demonstrates their best efforts, and fits into the entirety of their application.
